Why runes? Runes are living thoughts you hold in your hand that manifest the reality your intention has willed to exist.

We say that an idea is not real until it is carved in stone. Runes are carved in stone or wood. Each rune represents a thought or an idea that you have. That thought stems from a specific intention - a goal you wish to achieve. To bring a rune to life, first, its shape must be carved. Then the energy of your intention is loaded into the carved stave. When left alone, this energy become self sustaining with a focused intention. Literally, the runic energy loaded into the carved stave becomes a living being that has been given a single focused thought.

When you have a rune in hand, you literally hold that thought in the palm of your hand. It is your specific intention in a firm, concrete and unwavering form. This focused energy then works in many ways. First of all, it serves to remind you of your intention when you created the rune. This memory, resurfaced, then refocuses your mind, emotions and spiritual energy upon your intention. In essence, the rune triggers you to realign your energy to achieve your goal.

Additionally, the rune's energy emanates into the world around it. This charges or loads the area around it, and all things in the area, with the rune's energy. This is not unlike a magnet magnetizing a pieces of iron. Then, the rune draws to it similarly charged energies. A principle of the universe is that similarities attract and perpetuate. Therefore, situations, objects and people that resonate with the same energy are drawn to the proximity of the rune. When these energies combine, their resonating frequencies increase in amplitude. Basically, the more things that have the same energy are together, the stronger that energy is. When this energy reaches a certain threshold, all of the "reality" about the rune beings to alter. This is the manifestation of the intention which originally created the rune.

Remember, runes are living beings. Your  thoughts  come to life and live within the runes you create. Each of those runes' purpose in life is to weave the world that your intention has willed to exist.
